Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MAC motors are powerful servo motors that form rapid-response drives with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers. They feature electronic commutation and peak torque utilised over a wide speed range. Their applications cover handling equipment, robotics, textile machines, and machine tools.
The MAC063A-0-RS-4-C/095-B-0/WA612XX/S001 is an AC servo motor in the MAC series by Bosch Rexroth. It accommodates the direct mounting of pinions and belt pulleys onto the shaft because the design of its bearing assembly supports the application of high radial loads. Its housing, motor power, tachofeedback cables, and encoder cables meet the standard of the IP 65 protection category in line with DIN 40 050. As a result, it can be used under poor environmental conditions with minimal risks of damage. The designated cooling mechanism for this MAC motor is natural convection, where the heat generated during its operation is dissipated to the ambient air. Its nominal speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute.
With a rotor whose permanent magnets are composed of special materials, the MAC063A-0-RS-4-C/095-B-0/WA612XX/S001 has a low inertia. It also has a favourable torque-inertia ratio for a highly dynamic performance. The servo motor features tachofeedback and a mounted encoder; hence, it can detect and evaluate both rotor position and velocity. Its rotor’s moment of inertia is 2.4 x 10-4 kgm2. Thanks to its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings, it can be operated maintenance-free. This also grants it ahigh operational reliability. To prevent overload damage, thermo switches are integrated into its windings and stator housing. The MAC motor’s housing varnish is a black prime coat resistant to lyes, yellowing and chalky build-ups.
