Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a renowned manufacturer of industrial automation equipment and motion control products.
The KVR 1.1-30-3 is a supply module is a subsystem of the Indramat AC drive system that is used to mount various drives simultaneously. The device has regeneration capability and forms an integral part of the Indramat modular AC drive system. The link circuit DC voltage for the power supply is provided by this module. The connected main and servo drive modules are also provided control voltage through this device. The altering voltage from the three-phase mains is rectified through the power rectifier of the KVR. When the drives are being driven by the generator, the supply module can operate as an inverter. This serves to feed power back to the mains. Significant smoothing is provided with the help of a buffer capacitor. This module can also isolate individual drives from the mains through its mains contactor.
The KVR 1.1-30-3 is also used to supply power to the drive electronics. A signal voltage bus is used for this purpose. The signal voltages can receive power from the DC link circuit in the case when the mains fails. This ensures that the drive electronics remain operational even when the drives are running in generator mode. Extensive monitoring functions are provided with this supply module. This supply module can be operated at a continuous mechanical rate of 24 kW. When the motors are running in braking mode, the regenerated energy can be fed back to the mains. A 20 kW continuous regeneration power can be provided by the module. A three phase power supply operating between 380..480 Volts is used for this system. This module can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
