The KSM02.1B-071C-24N-S1-HG0-ET-SD-D7-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth KSM02 motor-integrated servo drive. Bosch has developed different drive firmware that are optimized for different applications. Therefore, the hardware and firmware need to be ordered separately. The drive system requires 750 Volts DC input for operation. Standard features avaible on the KSM02.1B-071C-24N-S1-HG0-ET-SD-D7-NN-FW include optical encoder Hiperface single-turn 128 signal periods, safe motion (with SBC), multi-Ethernet communication and a hybrid electrical connector. Optional features that can be ordered include a 24 Volts DC electrically releasing holding brake and communication output coupling. The main motor shaft on the KSM02.1B-071C-24N-S1-HG0-ET-SD-D7-NN-FW is plain and is fitted with a sealing ring. This seal prevents oil leakage and also provides protection against ingress of dust and water. The seal should be inspected periodically and replaced if required. Method used for cooing by the drive is natural convection.
The KSM02.1B-071C-24N-S1-HG0-ET-SD-D7-NN-FW has an environmental protection rating of IP65. This exceptionally good protection rating indicates that the drive enclosure is dust tight and is also safe from low-pressure water jets. This protection rating allows the installation of the drive system near the operating machinery and helps to save space cost as cabinets are not needed for drive mounting. The servo motor on the drive is rated for 10.5 Nm continuous torque and 35 Nm maximum torque. The maximum speed of the system motor is 3400 RPM. The maximum allowed axial force for the drive is 40 N. The system should only be installed when it is de-energized and not connected electrically. Suitable lifting gear and protection equipment should be used during transport.
