The firmware has to be ordered separately from the hardware. This is because Bosch provides different firmware with different features sets. The degree of protection offered by the drive housing is IP65. For use within scope of CSA / UL, the drive is certified for use in NFPA 79 applications only. If fluid is present at the output shaft for a prolonged period of time when the KSM02.1B-071C-24N-M1-HP2-ET-L3-D7-NN-FW is mounted with the drive side top, the fluid may enter the housing and cause damage. Therefore it needs to be ensured that the fluid is not present at the output motor shaft.
