Product Description
The Rexroth IndraDrive Mi drive system’s decentralized design makes it suitable for applications which require high efficiency. The drive system is usually connected to a certain number of KSM motors using RKH hybrid cable. The decentralized design of the drive system allows for a small-sized control cabinet, fewer cooling requirements, and reduced installation efforts. To operate the drive system, one electronic control system (KCU) is required. The electronic control system provides electric protection and is placed beside the unit of power supply.
When it comes to the KSM motors, they have bearings with a nominal service life of L10 h > 30,000 h as per DIN ISO 281 if the permissible axial as well as radial forces aren’t exceeded. The bearings can be replaced if running noise is heard or upon reaching their nominal service life. The replacement of the bearings is recommended to be carried out by the Rexroth Bosch service. It is also recommended for every string of the KSM motors connected to the drive system to be terminated using a terminal connector. The KSM motors may have either keyed shafts or ordinary plain shafts. To balance the KSM motors, an individual should use a complete key. These motors are fitted with encoder systems which are integrated. They are as well supplied with optional holding brakes that are released electrically.
Rexroth Bosch Cooperation has created different models of KSM motors e.g. KSM01.2B-061C-61N-M1-HP0-SE-NN-D7-NN-FW. The KSM01.2B-061C-61N-M1-HP0-SE-NN-D7-NN-FW motor performs exceptionally at a surrounding with lowest temperature of 0 oC and highest temperature of 40 oC. The speed of this motor does not exceed 4,300 min-1. This KSM product is also insulated as per insulation class 155 and its torque and current does not go beyond 25.0 Nm and 14.9 A respectively. The KSM01.2B-061C-61N-M1-HP0-SE-NN-D7-NN-FW can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
