KSM motors are a part of the products manufactured by Rexroth for motion control solutions. These motors are often used with the Rexroth IndraDrive Mi drive system. The IndraDrive Mi system and the related components are not enclosed in an electrical control enclosure which significantly reduces cost. The maintenance as well as the expense associated with the replacement of cooling fans has become something of the past. The IndraDrive Mi drive system alongside the distributed KSM motors do not require external cooling.
