The KMS02.1B-A018-P-D7-ET-NNN-NN-TO-FW servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth is designed with a seal at the radial shaft as per DIN 3760 ‑ design A. The radial shaft is made of rubber and is likely to wear and tear over time due to friction. Frequent lubrication and cleaning of the sealing points can reduce the wearing down of the radial seal. The lubricant also acts as a coolant for the servo sealing point as it dissipates the frictional heat emitted during operation. Always ensure that the sealing point never runs dry and is cleaned regularly. The KMS servo motor electrical connections are standardized with: Two power connections for hybrid connectors to loop through the bus cable, One safety technology interface (M12, 12-pin), Two I/O connectors (M12, 5-pin), and two optional connection points for connecting the communication (M12, 4-pin).
The servo motor is connected to the mains through a 24V power supply unit or a control-power transformer protected by PELV according to IEC 60204-1. The power supply or the control-power transformer is limited to a maximum output voltage of 42.4 V at peak or 30 Vac and output power of 10000 VA. The output current is reduced for thermal protection of the motor's power section which is dependent on the electric output frequency. The KMS02.1B-A018-P-D7-ET-NNN-NN-TO-FW servo motor has a protection IP IP65 protection category as per IEC 60529 and should be operated at ambient temperate ranging from 0°C...40°C.
