Product Description
The KMS02.1B-A018-P-D7-ET-NNN-L3-NN-FW servo motor from Bosch Rexroth is powered by the KCU connection box. The KCU supplies the servo motor with a controlled 42V from the HCS converter connected to the mains. It also transmits signals from higher control units to the KMS servo motor for fast communication between the main machine and the KMS motor. The servo motor uses RKH hybrid cable for both power lines and control lines connections. The RKH cables are protected against external damage as per EN61800‑5‑1 and should be routed as per EN 61800‑5‑2 requirements. Locking pins at connectors and connection points ensure that the hybrid cables run in the right direction. Avoid inverting the RKH hybrid cables to prevent signal interference. When connecting hybrid cables in ducts, ensure that the signal direction of the cable connection is correct.
The KMS02.1B-A018-P-D7-ET-NNN-L3-NN-FW is designed for mounting with a flange inside a control cabinet. Using a control cabinet with a fan, and without the required filters, can cause damage to the device or lead to a malfunction. Always service and clean the filters regularly depending on the dust loading in the environment. Filters should be replaced when the fan is switched off to avoid sucking in dirt from the filters into the control cabinet.
Mounting of the servo motor can either be in a vertical or horizontal position. If the KMS motor is mounted in a horizontal position, ensure that fluids do not accumulate at the output shaft. If the fluid is allowed to collect at the output shaft over a prolonged time in the fluid may enter the housing and cause damage. The servo motor should be operated in ambient temperatures ranging from °C 0...40. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
