The KMS01.2B-A018-P-D7-SE-ENH-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller by Bosch Rexroth. The drive controller is used along with the manufacturer’s distributed servo drive. The device can also be combined with the IndraDrive M and IndraDrive C series of electronic control systems from the manufacturer. It features an IP 65 level of protection as per IEC 60529 specifications. The product is equipped with a hybrid cable for communication and power. This cable ensures that only minimum cabling is needed because it replaces the encoder, control voltage and signal exchange, SERCOS and motor power cables. The controller features two sections comprising a control section and a power section.

The device is fitted with a type plate that provides various details such as nominal current, output frequency range, part number, cooling type, mass, output voltage and current, etc. The product supports the use of a HIPERFACE encoder for the evaluation of feedback. It has limited performance levels and can be used to operate the manufacturer’s IndraDyn S series of motors by controlling them and monitoring their performance. The product can be used in single-axis and multi-axis drive and control tasks. The device comes with a warranty period of one year.

The distributed drive controller has a current rating of 18A and a DC bus nominal voltage rating of 750V. The drive controller uses an RS422 SERCOS interface for master communication. It operates ina temperature range of 0°C and +40°C. The controller weighs 2.4kg.
