Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth KDV1.2-100-220/300-220 power supply’s main purpose is to convert the incoming AC voltage to DC Bus power directed to the connecting servo drives. These servo drives can be consistently used with up to 24kW of energy. The power supply has an input voltage of 220 VAC. It features a three-phase supply network and has an output voltage of 300 V DC. The drive has integrated bleeder overload warning sensors, an AUX volt display, earth connection LED indicators, and power ON/OFF LED indicators.
The 3-phase bridge of the KDV power supply rectifies the 3-phase mains AC voltage and offers DC high voltage for the drive. When the drive is in generator mode, the bleeder absorbs the regenerated energy and transforms it into heat. Sufficient smoothing is provided by the buffer capacitance. When there is a power failure, the signal voltages get their power from the DC bus. In other words, even when the drive is in generator mode, the drive electronics can still function. The power supply module has extensive monitoring functions, which communicate with the drive modules through the signal voltage bus.
At the time of installation of the power supply module, the circuit diagrams of the machine builder should be used. The mains voltage can be adapted using an autotransformer. Each drive module should be connected to the PE busbar of the KDV power supply by a separate ground conductor. It should be noted that only those voltages outlined in the interface descriptions or data sheets must be connected. The user should remove all connections to the device before performing any high-voltage test on the cabinet. The DC bus dynamic brake is meant to protect the machine.
