The KDV 3.1-100-220-300-220 is a top-quality power supply module in the KDV series by Rexroth Indramat. The KDV 3.1-100-220-300-220 power supply module provides power for Indramat drives that work with Indramat servo motors and controls. This particular power supply module provides 100 A rated current with a 300 v of DC Bus nominal voltage, 220 V AC nominal voltage and a factory assigned heatsink blower of nominal voltage.

This power supply works to convert AC line voltage by way of the power rectifier which can be found inside the unit. This internal power rectifier, in turn, converts the AC line voltage into DC bus voltage and provides the drives it supplies with this DC bus voltage so they can perform their varying tasks. If the drives are working as generators, they will then feed energy back into the electrical power system. The excess or unused energy will be absorbed by a bleeder resistor.

Signal voltage from the KDV 3.1-100-220-300-220 power supply module is supplied to the drives by means of a wire ribbon cable. The power supply module features a number of monitoring functions and communicates via this wire-ribbon cable. If there is any trouble, the power supply module will automatically cut off the supply of power to the drive. The KDV 3.1-100-220-300-220 power supply module was created to work with Indramat Modular AC drives. This power supply will provide modular AC drives with continuous mechanical power to meet the drives needs up to 24 kW.
