Product Description
Bosch Indramat’s MAC series of servo motors are designed to be interfaced with high-accuracy applications on the industrial floor. These family of motors have high short-time acceleration moments, fast and clear diagnostics using status lamps on the front panel, among other functionalities. To enable MAC servo motors to handle application-specific functions, KDS drives feature MOD programming module. The MOD programming module holds adjustment parameters pre-adjusted to eliminate the time-consuming calibration procedures. The programming module is connected to the Indramat servo drive module which in turn interfaces with the controlled motor.
The KDS 1.3-150-300-W1 is a servo drive module designed and manufactured by Indramat. It belongs to the Indramat KDS1 series of servo drive modules. Modules in this series have plug-in terminals on their front side to facilitate quick and easy connections of feedback and input-output devices. Indramat’s KDS series of servo modules are designed to be mounted and operated inside a control cabinet. The KDS 1.3-150-300-W1 supports cold-running technology where most of the heat loss of the module is fed directly out and does not build up inside the cabinet. Note that ventilation inside the cabinet is achieved using an external fan.
The Indramat KDS 1.3-150-300-W1 has a current rating of 150 Amperes and operates optimally with a link circuit voltage of 300 Volts DC. The module allows for easy and timely monitoring and troubleshooting via light emitting diodes on its front panel. To reach optimal performance, the KDS 1.3-150-300-W1 should be operated in environments with an ambient temperature ranging from 5 to 45 degrees Celsius inside the control cabinet. To prevent this permissible temperature from rising above 55 degrees Celsius, Indramat advises that no heat-producing devices should be mounted directly beneath the Bosch servo drive module. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
