Indramat’s MAC servo motors have changed how motion is controlled on the factory floor. Specially designed to be used with high-accuracy servo applications, these drives are efficient and have a high performance. To enhance performance, safety, and reliability, MAC motors employ KDS servo drive modules. Most of these modules use cold-running technology allowing them to be mounted and operated in enclosed spaces without the need for expensive heat exchangers for extensive transmission of heat. When used in conjunction with the Indramat KDS drive modules, the MAC series of servo motors are ideal for use in printing presses, textile machines, robotics, packaging machinery, machine tools, among other high-performance applications.
The KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220/S102 is a servo drive module designed and manufactured by Indramat. For easier monitoring and troubleshooting, the module contains diagnostic light emitting diodes for monitoring voltage, rotor position, current, power, temperature, among other conditions. The KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220/S102 is designed to be mounted inside a control cabinet and an external fan provided for cooling. Note that the external fan has a voltage rating of 220 Volts AC at a frequency of between a maximum of 60 Hertz and a minimum of 50 Hertz.
The Indramat KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220/S102 has a current rating of 100 Amperes, a link circuit voltage rating of 300 Volts DC and has a custom design. The KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-220/S102 is part of the MAC motor system which comprises of power supply modules and other component that help in efficiently control motors on the industrial floor. Note that the MAC motor is designed as a modular system with the main components being the mains input, the MAC servo motor, and the KDS servo drive module that acts as the control unit.
