Product Description
Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, the KDS 1.1-050-300-W1-115/S102 servo drive module in cold running technology (amplifier) is meant to be used as the control unit of the MAC servo motor. It operates by creating a three-phase system controlled based on frequency, amplitude, and phase. This system will be applied to the MAC servo motor and influences the torque direction. The torque direction is determined by the phase relationship between the rotor’s magnetic field and the three-phase system defined by the KDS 1.1-050-300-W1-115/S102 servo drive motor. The torque direction is also derived from the speed controller’s system deviation. It also influences speed, torque, and control circuit signal conditioning.
The KDS 1.1-050-300-W1-115/S102 features a link circuit voltage of DC 300 V and a type current set at 50 A. It also has a mounted fan with a rated connection voltage of AC 115 V. In the case of the cooling method, it uses the mounted fan, specifically the external fan unit LE4. Since it uses an external fan, this shows that the KDS 1.1-050-300-W1-115/S102 servo drive module features forced ventilation. So, the external fan is supplied as an additional set, and there is a space in the controller where it can be mounted.
The opening of the control cabinet of the KDS 1.1-050-300-W1-115/S102 servo drive module in cold running technology is tightly sealed using a gasket located at the mounting flange. During installation, you will mount the KDS 1.1-050-300-W1-115/S102 and the external fan, and they can be exchanged when they are inside the control cabinet. The servo drive module’s maximum permissible ambient temperature is set at +55 degrees Celsius, and going above this can damage the module. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
