The KDA 3.3-150-3-D00-U1 is a state-of-the-art main spindle drive produced by Rexroth Indramat to carry out accurate and precise motion control in the industrial servo system. This main spindle drive features a housing unit that is structured to allow for the installation of the drive into an external cabinet that will provide it with additional protection as the housing unit its self can only offer protection according to the IP10 protection category. This main spindle drive is designed specially for the 1MB frameless spindle drive, and the 2AD asynchronous motor. The drive controller is also highly durable, it can operate for more than 5 years without breaking down or requiring any repair operation. The heat generated in the spindle drive controller’s housing is quickly dissipated out of the housing by the heatsink blower which is also present in the housing unit. The housing unit of this drive controller features special slits with make the heat dissipation process very effective and efficient.

The KDA 3.3-150-3-D00-U1 main spindle drive features a digital 16-bit parallel interface that controls the exchange of digital information between the spindle drive and all other parts of the drive controller.
