Product Description
The Rexroth Indramat KDA 3.3-150-3-A0S-W1 microcomputer controller digital drive. The drive is compatible with motors from Indramat which belong to the 2AD and 1MB product lines. Features of KDA series drives include high stiffness, extensive speed range and positioning features. Rated output current of the KDA 3.3-150-3-A0S-W1 is 150 Amps. The rated continuous output current is 90 Amps. Speed command value supported by the drive is analog 10 Volts. An auxiliary serial interface which supports RS-232 protocol is available on the drive. Auxiliary encoder input is not supported on the drive. The drive is designed to be cooled by air which is forced across the heat sink by an integrated blower. Power requirement of the blower is 220 Volts AC. Parameters that synchronize the drive to the motor and match the drive to the machine tool are stored on the AS module.
The operating software for the KDA 3.3-150-3-A0S-W1 drive and the parameters are stored on the AS module. Drive re-programming is not required if it needs to be replaced. The AS module can simply be unplugged from the faulty drive and plugged into the replacement drive. This saves time and also minimizes system downtime. The AS module can also be duplicated for other machines. A parameter duplicating adaptor or serial interface and PC are required for this purpose. Peak humidity for the drive corresponds to humidity class F as per DIN 40 040. The drive can be operated in humid locations such as workshops in cold / moderate / dry-warm climates. However the average relative humidity must not exceed 70%. Drive operators should ensure that condensation is not allowed to form on an operating KDA 3.3-150-3-A0S-W1 drive.
