The Rexroth Indramat KDA 3.3-150-3-A0D-U1 is a KDA 3 series main spindle drive controller. It is designed for speed control and position control applications. The drive is cooled by forced cooling: a built-in blower forces air across the heatsink which is attached to the back side of the drive. The blower on the KDA 3.3-150-3-A0D-U1 requires 115 Volts AC power input. Rated current for the KDA 3.3-150-3-A0D-U1 is 150 Amps and the continuous current rating for the drive is 90 Amps. The DC bus on the drive carries a 300 Volts DC voltage during drive operation. This voltage must be allowed to discharge during drive maintenance. Failure to do so can lead to electric shock. The operating parameters and drive firmware are stored on an AS programming module. Enclosure of the drive is IP 10 rated and is designed for installation inside an industrial cabinet. All installation and operation related activities should be performed by trained personnel.
