The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MultiMediaCard is a storage platform that is mounted into a slot available on a corresponding motor. The PFM02.1-A07 have the aptitude to offer a wide range of storage solutions such as storing parameters, firmware and other files such as programs and user related files. Note that these devices are optional equipment that can be temporary or stationary. Temporary MultiMediaCards are removable chips that can be used to update the firmware or can transfer, save and reestablish parameters.
PFM02.1-A07 MultiMediaCard comes with an extra plug that allows you to transmit or duplicate your drive parameters. They come with a non-volatile memory type together with a storage capacity of 512kb. The device lets you transfer or copy your axis-oriented drive parameters fast and easily without a computer for indramat motor controllers.
Using PFM02.1-A07 involves a simple process. You need to make sure that the voltage is on before you start the process. Nevertheless, you will have to replace the old firmware documents with new ones. For that purpose, switch off the motor and un-mount the MultiMediaCard(MMC). Plug it in your PC using an MMC card reader and ensure the firmware folder is opened. During the process, ensure the IBF file of the newly acquired firmware is ready. Note that the MMC firmware folder can’t holder more than one file at a time. So, make sure you delete the old firmware and then transfer the new one.
