The Bosch Rexroth HVR02.2-W025N/S203 is a power supply module designed for Rexroth DIAX 04 systems. It provides power to HDS and HDD drive controller modules installed in Rexroth DIAX 04 systems. The HVR02.2-W025N/S203 operates with regulated bus voltage which means that dynamics of connected drive controllers are maintained even when the input voltage drops below recommended values. Nominal data for the HVR02.2-W025N/S203 applies to following ambient conditions: installation elevation does not exceed 1000 meters and the ambient temperature is maintained between 41 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit. Derating of the supply output begins with elevations exceeding 1000 meters. Additional external components are required when the elevation exceeds 2000 meters. Isolation transformer may also be required to limit the input voltage. Operating the power supply outside the recommended ambient thresholds can lead to power supply damage and invalidates the manufacturer guarantee.

Output of the HVR02.2-W025N/S203 also derates when the temperature of the surrounding air exceeds 113 degrees Fahrenheit. Maximum allowed ambient temperature is 131 degrees Fahrenheit. Bosch has provided two different methods for determining whether the supply can be used in any particular application with derated data: method 1 is applicable when either the temperature OR the elevation exceeds recommended threshold and method 2 applies when both the temperature AND elevation exceed the recommended thresholds. Details for these methods can be found in the application manual for HVR series supplies. The HVR02.2-W025N/S203 is rated for 25 kilowatts of nominal power output. Housing of the supply is rated for IP 10 and should be installed inside an industrial cabinet. The supply is cooled through natural convection and a blower is also provided for this purpose.
