Product Description

HVE03.2-W030N is a Bosch Rexroth HVE series power supply module. It forms part of a modular drive system and delivers unregulated DC output to multiple drive units. The power supply module and drive units are installed in the same rack. The HVE unit is rated for 380 to 480 Volts AC input. Its output DC voltage is 530 to 670 Volts DC. The main power supply unit components that performs AC to DC conversion is a rectifier, which is a power electronics device specifically designed for AC to DC conversion. When operating drives units regeneratively, energy fed back to the power module gets absorbed by the bleeder and is transformed into heat. It is possible to shut down drives with permanent magnet excitation with the DC bus dynamic brake; this is possible even when the drive electronics have failed.

The internal power contactor on the power supply module switches off the drives from the AC mains. The continuous bleeder power for the HVE03.2-W030N is 1.5 kilowatts. The peak bleeder power is 100 kilowatts. The peak regenerated energy is 100 kWs. Excluding bleeder losses, the power loss at peak continuous output is 355 Watts.
