Product Description

The HVE03.2-W030L is a power supply unit that is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. This second-generation product is one of the several HVE series of such devices in the DIAX04 product group. It works with drive controllers from the same manufacturer. The unit offers an unregulated DC bus voltage or control voltage for the connected drive controller. The module encompasses a power rectifier to rectify the three-phase AC voltage. The regenerated energy gets dissipated in the form of heat through a bleeder resistor when it operates in Generator mode. This product features a substantial monitoring function. The unit comes with a one-year industrial warranty.

The DC bus voltage of the device provides the required control voltage if there is a mains failure. The unit supports connection to power systems with a frequency range of 50to 60Hz and 3 x 380 to 480VAC mains voltage with a tolerance of +/-10%. It can be connected to motors for which the continuous mechanical power does not exceed 60kW. The product is compact and can be installed inside a control cabinet along with the HDD or HDS series drive controller. The module has an overall length of 498mm and a width of 150mm. The device can be placed both horizontally and vertically inside the control cabinet.

If the module is arranged in the horizontal orientation, the PE bridges and copper strands provided must be used. In case the arrangement is done vertically, twisted solid conductors must be used in place of the copper strands. Also, for vertical orientation, the ground connections should be done using a cord that has a cross-sectional area of at least 10sq.mm. In case the units are arranged in two rows, a baffle must be mounted between both the rows to avoid overheating and decreased performance.
