Product Description
The HVE02.2-W018 is used to operate the drive controller in the drive system. It provides the control voltage supply for all connected controllers and in case of mains failure, it provides the control voltage via its DC bus voltage. It is equipped with monitoring functions that monitor the drive system. This is done by communicating with the drive controllers through the control bus voltage. It is to be used in conjunction with motors of 60 kW mechanical power. When the HVE02.2-W018 is running in generator mode, the regenerated energy is dissipated as heat via the bleeder resistor.
It can be combined with CD bus choke GLD to optimally adjust the power needs of the task at hand. It comes with a protection class of IP 10 which requires it to be mounted in a control cabinet. There should be an air cooling system to ensure the temperature does not exceed 45 degrees. Conditions of use are an operating temperature of 5 to 45 degrees, storage and transport temperature of -30 to 85 degrees, relative humidity of 95%, and an installation altitude of 1000 meters. The input voltage is 3 x 380 … 480 V, frequency is 50/60 Hz, and the power input with maximum load is capped at 500 VA.
The HVE02.2-W018 should not be used in environments that do not meet ambient conditions such as under water and extreme temperature fluctuations. It is exclusively used to supply electricity to HDS and HDD drive controllers. You need to provide additional sensors and actors to control and monitor motors. The HVE02.2-W018 rectifies 3-phase AC voltage into an unregulated DC bus voltage for the connected drive controllers. You can get it from Wake Industrial.
