The HLR01.1N-10K0-N18R0-A-007-NNNN model comes in a free mounting style having height, width, and depth of 600 mm, 270 mm, and 490 mm with a total weight of 22 kg. The brake resistor dissipates the continuous power of 10 kW and peak power of 33 kW within the cycle time of 120 seconds and provides 20.2 Ohm of brake resistance to the converter. The brake resistor is protected by IP20 protection class which protects it from solid objects having a diameter greater than 12.5 mm but it will not provide any resistance against liquids. The model comes without any additional option and operates at the DC 700V. The maximum allowed 32 seconds on-time duty cycle is required to absorb the regenerated power of 1080 kW. The brake resistor is widely used with converters to overcome the effect of high voltage by dissipating it into heat.

The model HLR01.1N-10K0-N18R0-A-007-NNNN operates ideally between the ambient temperature range of 0 to +40 ͦC.
