Rated for 200A current the HDS04.1-W200N-HS11-01-FW is a configured drive controller. This model is from the DIAX04 HDS family of controllers from Indramat Rexroth. This controller is known for its modular construction. In the current configuration of this controller a SERCOS type interface is used for communications with external devices and the control system. Controlling of this drive-through ANALOG interface can be achieved with the help of an appropriately configured plug-in module.
The HDS04.1-W200N-HS11-01-FW supports a variety of rotary as well as linear motors including (but not limited to); LSF, ADF, MHD, LAR, MBW, etc. this drive comes with servo functionality and it can be operated in different modes including; position mode, velocity mode, torque mode, and drive-interpolated mode. In torque mode, a torque value is fed to the drive by the controller. In velocity control mode the desired speed of the drive is achieved by the controller by manipulation in the supplied current.
