HDS drives are single motor electric drives meant to be connected to each other in shared DC bus fashion.
This AC drive can supply a nominal current of 40 ampere and is able to deliver to the connected motor a maximum current of 75 A for a limited amount of time. The system could be attached to an additonal motion controller using the integrated SERCOS fieldbus interface. The entire parametrization of the system can be deployed to the servodrive with the Rexroth setup software by connecting a common PC to the servo amplifier with its embedded RS-232 or RS-485 interface. Parameters can be transferred to other HDS drives along with the device firmware using the software module (this feature is particularly useful if the user is in need of a quick replacement). The servodrive is provided with a base single-channel safety STO feature. The Safe Torque Off function is certified and the related safety circuit will allow the HDS03.2-W075N-HT25-01-FW to reach the following certifications: PL d CAT 3 (EN 13849-1) and SIL 2.
