The HDS03.1-W100N-H is a state-of-the-art industrial drive controller manufactured by Rexroth Indramat which is internationally renowned for the production of cost-efficient and durable industrial machine products. This controller is has a modular design that makes it possible for it to be flexibly combined with other AC drives to sophisticated drive packages that can be supported by on supply unit. The drive controller is compatible with different Bosch Rexroth motor designs including the MKD, MHD, 1MB and 2 AD motor series. The controller is also capable of supporting different industrial machines including printing and packaging machines, textile machines, robotic machines and handling machines. During operation, the HDS03.1-W100N-H industrial is intended for connection to either the HVE or HVR supply modules. These modules are also manufactured by Bosch Rexroth and can supply all the signals and the power voltages the controller requires. If the controller is used with a power supply system that is not capable of regeneration, and if the drive performance required is very high, operators should consider integrating the HZB additional braking resistor to control the energy generated from braking. Also, if the controller is to be used for high continuous start-stop operations, it may be necessary to use the HZK additional capacitor with the controller. The electronic components of the HDS03.1-W100N-H industrial controller should be protected from electrostatic loads or persons or object coming in contact with it, this can be done by ensuring all objects are properly discharged by grounding before coming in contact with the controller.
