Product Description
The HDS02.2-W040N-HT01-01-FW drive controller by Bosch Rexroth is used with MKD, 2AD, 1MB, and MHD series of AC motors from the same manufacturer. This product can work as the main drive as well as a servo drive. The device is used in a wide range of commercial machinery such as robotics and machine tools. It incorporates an additional HZB brake resistor in case the performance of the drive is high and the power supply is incapable of regeneration. This resistor helps in controlling the energy that gets generated due to the braking action. It is likely to feature a high electrical voltage because of incorrect connections resulting in severe bodily injury or electric shock.
The drive controller must be used only by personnel who are qualified and trained to operate electrical equipment. The product should use only those spare parts and accessories that have the approval of the manufacturer. It must be properly installed, assembled, transported, and stored for optimal operation. This device should be protected against direct contact by using appropriate housing. The unit uses a SERCOS interface for command communication. The controller is connected to its associated control using optical fibers. The product features a peak current value of 40A.
The device must be operated only if the application it is intended to be used for, complies with the national EMC regulations. The drive controller should be opened and worked on only after five minutes of switching OFF the power so that the capacitors get discharged. The product has a leakage current of over 3.5mA. It operates in an ambient temperature range of 5°C and 45°C with rated data. The power connection of the device must be isolated using an emergency stop circuit to avoid unplanned startup. The controller can be dispatched safely to any international destination with a warranty period of one year.
