Product Description
The HDS02.2-W040N-HS66-01-FW drive controller is a new generation drive manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The role of the HDS02.2-W040N-HS66-01-FW drive in the industrial servo system is to translate low power command signals it receives from the command into high power voltage and then transmit this high-power voltage to the motor. The servo drive can be configured to regulate and properly coordinate the motor's position, speed, torque, and power output. This drive can control a broad range of industrial motor series such as the ADS, 1MB, ADS, and the MKD motor drive series. The drive contains a built-in battery that helps it to retain the servo motor encoder value even when power has been removed from the servo system.
The electrical components of the HDS02.2-W040N-HS66-01-FW drive controller generate electromagnetic force during the operation of the drive; thus, persons wearing cardiac pacemakers, hearing aids, or any other device sensitive to electromagnetic force should seek their doctor's permission before operating the drive controller. The housing of the HDS02.2-W040N-HS66-01-FW drive is also designed to hold special configuration cards such as the SERCOS interface command communication cards, the HSM software module cards, the digital input and output cards, and the interface card. The drive controller should not be stored or transported in an ambient temperature greater than 85 degrees Celcius.
If the HDS02.2-W040N-HS66-01-FW drive controller is required for a high-performance operation, an additional HZB brake resistor can be connected to the drive to help control the electrical energy fed into the drive power circuit during braking. The drive controller is designed to operate with a rated current of 40 Amperes. It contains a built-in air blower, which maintains air ventilation and temperature regulation in the drive. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
