The Rexroth Indramat HDS02.2-W040N-HS37-01-FW is a drive controller (second generation) which is meant for use in DIAX04 systems. Multiple HDS controllers such as the HDS02.2-W040N-HS37-01-FW and HDD family controllers can be installed in the same DIAX04 chassis for control for AC motors. A single HVE / HVR power supply unit installed in the same chassis can provide power to all installed drive controllers. Performance specifications of the controller include 40 Amps rated current, 40 Amps peak current, 20 Amps current at 4 kilohertz power section frequency and 15 Amps current at 8 kilohertz power section frequency. When the controller is operating at 40 Amps continuous current it incurs 125 Watts power loss. For optimal operation the controller requires maximum 1000 meters installation altitude and 5 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature.
