The introduction of Indramat DIAX04 digital intelligent drives greatly improved how Indramat motors were controlled on the industrial floor. The DIAX04 family comprises of drives in the Indramat HDD and Indramat HDS series. To adapt to a wide range of industrial applications, drives in the DIAX04 family support optional plug-in cards in slots U1 to U4. The plug-in cards can be an interface card to represent the interface to an ARCNET bus system and an integrable control card that supports a centralized control of a digital drive controller in SYNAX applications. To save on time when replacing a drive, DIAX04 drives feature a removable software module that stores the firmware and the drive parameters. If the drive has to be replaced, the drive parameters can easily and effectively be transferred to another drive by inserting the software module.
The HDS02.1-W040N-HS32-01-FW is a HDS servo drive controller designed and manufactured by Indramat. It supports a SERCOS command communication module and has a rated current of 40 Amperes. For easier monitoring and timely troubleshooting, the HDS02.1-W040N-HS32-01-FW has graphical display that shows error diagnoses, operating states, status diagnoses, command diagnoses, and warning diagnoses with each diagnoses being made up of a diagnoses number followed by a textual explanation.
Errors displayed can be triggered by missing supply voltage on the encoder, hardware fault, program error, RAM not properly plugged in, among other conditions. The HDS02.1-W040N-HS32-01-FW is designed to be stored in an environment with an ambient temperature not falling below -30 degrees Celsius and not exceeding 80 degrees Celsius.
