The HDD02.1-W040N-HD01-01-FW drive controller is a rapid-response drive manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The drive controller is suitable for the servo and main drives to control electric motors and monitor their operation. The HDD02.1 control drive is capable of using as machine tools, printing, textile, packaging machines as well as in robotics. These drive controllers are projected for connection to an HVE or HVR supply module. The HDD02.1 drive controller has the basic unit, a command communication module, additional plug-in module, and a configuration plate. The command communication module has the HDD SERCOS interface that allows operation of the digital drive with SERCOS-interface compatible control unit via optical fibers.

The HDD02.1-W040N-HD01-01-FW drive controller falls in the DIAX04 controller family and has the 40A rated current and 40A per axis peak current. The drive controller has the 15A per axis continuous current at 4 kHz and 10A per axis at 8kHz.the drive controller power loss is 110 per axis and comes with a weight of 8 kg. The power consumption of the drive controller for signal processing from +/-26V is 40W. The HDD02.1 has a built-in blower for air circulation in the control cabinet for cooling. The drive controller has configured Firmware software that can be ordered as a separate sub-item.

The permissible ambient temperature for the controller drive is +5°C to +45°C along with the derated permissible value of +55°C. The installation elevation of the drive is max. 1000 meter above sea level without reduction of rated data. The controller operated outside of specified conditions could damage the drive and affect the operation. It has the insulation classification C as per DIN VDE 01 10 and has the protection category of IP 10 per DIN 40 050 which authorizes to mount the drive in the control cabinet or close housing.
