Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has mastered the art of creating high-efficiency automation units that solve vast automation challenges. Its revolutionary Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is scalable in power and functionality and promotes energy-saving operation. One of the components of this system is the HCS converter used for applications such as food processing and packaging machines, machine tools, paper processing machines, and general automation.
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-E-S3-EC-EP-L3-NN-FW is one of the highly functional converters designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the IndraDrive Cs series. It has a multi-encoder interface for encoders with a supply voltage of 5V and 12V. Examples of these encoders are the MSM and MS2N motor encoders, the sin-cos encoder (1Vp) with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1Vp) with EnDat 2.1. Given its compact design, it ensures space-conserving installation without a drop in functionality. It also works with other IndraDrive units and control sections in the ECONOMY control section range. The permitted supply voltage for its power section is 24V with a tolerance of ±20%, while its maximum inrush current at this value is 4.50A.
A three-phase AC supply voltage between 200V and 500V is required to operate the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-E-S3-EC-EP-L3-NN-FW. It is cooled by forced air ventilation and has a volumetric forced cooling of 113.0 m3/h. The allowed switching frequencies for its operation are 4kHz, 8kHz, and 12kHz. Like other components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, it belongs to category C3 per IEC 61800‑3. This means that its operation in a public low-voltage mains supplying residential areas will produce high-frequency interference. Hence, the adoption of radio interference suppression measures is necessary. It also requires a maximum ambient temperature of 40oC.
