Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive Cs drive converters can be tailored to suit different applications as desired by users, thanks to their different interfaces and configurations. They are compact control units majorly used to control electric motors and monitor their operation. These devices are commonly used in applications like food processing and packaging machines, and printing machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW is a drive converter in the HCS series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has an encoder emulation interface that permits the emulation of absolute value and incremental encoder signals for further evaluation by a control unit. These signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit board. The drive controller is also equipped with a multi-encoder interface for different encoder systems, such as the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the MSK motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. They have supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V. It is a product of Category C3 per EN 61800-3, requiring radio interference suppression filters.
Heat generated by the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW is dissipated via an internal airflow in its control cabinet. The drive converter communicates with other system components using a Multi-Ethernet master communication module. This module allows bus systems like sercos III, EtherCat, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET IO. In line with the EN 60529 standard, this HCS model has an IP 20 Ingress protection rating, indicating that it is dust-proof and impermeable to solid external objects over 12mm. Its maximum current rating is 54A and utilizes a three-phase AC mains voltage between 200V and 500V for operations. It supports firmware use, but it must be ordered separately.
