Product Description
IndraDrive drive converters are compact, space-conserving units in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth. They are used to control electric motors and monitor their operation. These devices differ in performance, configuration, and interfaces, making them suitable for application-specific use. Their typical applications are food processing and packaging machines, machine tools, general automation, printing machines, and the semiconductor industry.
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-S5-NN-NW is a model of the compact drive converters in the IndraDrive Cs product range designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It supports different kinds of Ethernet-based interfaces, including sercos III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCat, thanks to its Multi-Ethernet master communication module. This HCS model also has two multi-encoder interfaces, allowing encoder systems with 5V and 12V and supply voltages. These include the MSM motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the MS2N motor encoder. The drive converter also has a Safe Motion safety technology module for numerous application-related safety functions.
Control sections with the BASIC design are compatible with the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-S5-NN-NW. It can be easily installed in a control cabinet where it is cooled by an internal cooling airflow. According to EN 60529, it has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20, meaning that solid extrinsic objects over 12mm cannot penetrate it to cause damage. This HCS drive converter has a maximum current rating of 54A and must be operated with a three-phase AC mains voltage between 200V and 500V. It also requires an ambient temperature that ranges from 0°C to 40°C for its operation and must be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above sea level.
