The Bosch HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a 54 Amps rated drive controller. The components that make up the controller include an advanced control section, a power section rated for 200 to 500 Volts AC input, and a standard control panel. The control panel must be connected to the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW prior to power on. The control panel is not recognized if it is connected to the controller after power on. Operators can order an advanced control panel for HCS drive controllers. The advanced control panel supports hot plug and also has more memory than a standard control panel. Firmware for the controller is ordered separately. The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW supports hardware-enabled features including one multi-encoder interface, one Multi-Ethernet interface and safe torque off. Slot 2 on the controller is vacant.
The hardware modules that operators can install in slot 2 include CANopen, Profibus, encoder emulation, Multi-Ethernet, multi-encoder interface, and digital/analog I/O extension. Operators should observe the minimum distances to be complied with for mounting. The specified horizontal minimum distance refers to the distance to neighboring devices or equipment installed in the control cabinet. The back-side mounting (back of device directly mounted to mounting surface in control cabinet) is the standard and should be used, if possible. The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW controller is available in an IP20 rated enclosure. It dissipates warm air inside the cabinet. On the sides of the controller there are adhesive labels with notes on safety. The supplied accessory HAS09 additionally contains these adhesive labels. If the adhesive labels at the devices are no longer visible after mounting, place the adhesive labels from the HAS09 accessory clearly visibly at the device or in the immediate vicinity of the device.
