Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s automation systems integrate top-notch drive and motion control units to provide automation solutions. The HCS drive converters are components of its Rexroth IndraDrive drive system with multiple interfaces for diverse applications. These include food packaging machines, machine tools, and handling and mounting systems.
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-L3-NN-FW is a model of the HCS drive converters in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive drive system. Equipped with a multi-encoder interface, it is compatible with several standard encoders. These include the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the MSM motor encoder, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1. These encoders have supply voltages of 5V and 12V. The drive converter has a standard control panel where information like operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings can be viewed. It functions as a programming module and serves as a tool for fault identification and resolution.
Control sections in the BASIC range are compatible with the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-L3-NN-FW. It has a Multi-Ethernet module for communication, allowing its integration in different Ethernet field bus systems, including sercos III, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET IO, and EtherCAT. The drive converter also has an Engineering Port and Safe Torque Off (STO) for safety. Safe Torque Off is cost-effective and prevents the motor from starting unintentionally. With the compact size of the HCS model, its installation is simplified as it is mounted in a control cabinet. It is mounted per the G1 mounting style, making heat elimination more efficient since it prevents the formation of pockets of heat. The maximum ambient temperature for its operation is 40oC.
