The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-PB-L3-NN-FW is a highly advanced electrical converter designed by Rexroth Indramat to control the operation of electrical motors by adjusting the current, voltage, and frequency of the electrical energy supplied to the motor. This electrical converter is a highly compact device that is designed according to the IP20 protection class, although the motor housing provides complete protection against large solid substances, for complete protection the motor should be installed into an additional control cabinet that provides minimum protection that meets the IP54 protection class. Under ideal operating conditions, this industrial converter maintains an operational efficiency as high as 95 per cent, it is also compatible with highly sophisticated industrial applications such as printing machines, the semi-conductor industry, machine tools, and paper processing machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-PB-L3-NN-FW industrial converter features an advanced control panel which is made up of a display unit and about four pressure-sensitive keys. The control panel is designed to provide the end user with a user-friendly interface through which he can interact with the converter in real-time. The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-PB-L3-NN-FW industrial motor contains the Multi-Ethernet communication module which controls the communication between the converter and all other parts of the servo system. The converter also features a multi-encoder interface that is compatible with most standard encoder designs including the EnDat2.1, EnDat2.2, SSI, TTL, C, and resolver encoder designs.
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-PB-L3-NN-FW industrial electrical converter operates with a maximum input current of about 13 amperes, at this current the converter can generate a leakage current as high as 3.5 milliamperes and requires a secure connection to a grounding system before it is switched on for operation. The controller is not supplied with a firmware module, this has to be ordered as a separate unit by the end user.
