Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s HCS drive converters are compact units in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They have multiple interfaces that allow their interaction with other system components. These control units are also flexible and have several product advantages. They are used in general automation and printing machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EM-S5-NN-FW is a drive converter in the HCS series designed and manufactured in Bosch Rexroth. It is built for control sections in the BASIC range and communicates using a Multi-Ethernet communication module. Hence, it can be integrated in Ethernet field bus systems like sercos III, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET IO, and EtherCAT. The drive converter’s multi-encoder interface allows it to be connected to encoders with 5V and 12V supply voltage ratings. They include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the MS2N motor encoder, and the MSK motor encoder. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 20, according to EN 60529.
A standard control panel in the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EM-S5-NN-FW is used as a programming module. It has a single-line display with four operating keys. The operating state, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings of the drive converter can be viewed on this control panel. Its safety technology module is Safe Motion. It also accommodates a maximum current of 13A. Firmware use is supported in the HCS model, but this must be ordered separately. Its mains connecting voltage is a three-phase AC mains connecting voltage ranging from 110V to 230V. It is cooled via forced air cooling and installed via the G1 mounting style within a control cabinet. Natural convection supports the forced cooling air currents and prevents heat pocket formation.
