Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control units have numerous product advantages to offer. Its HCS drive converters offer multi-protocol support with high-level compatibility with a wide range of encoder systems. They are used in machine tools, robotics, and handling and mounting systems.

The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EM-S4-NN-FW is a compact drive converter in the HCS series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It supports firmware use but this must be ordered separately. According to the EN 60529 standard, it has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20. This is because it does not admit solid external materials over 12mm. The Multi-Ethernet communication module in the drive converter allows it to be integrated in a wide range of Ethernet field bus systems, including EtherNet/IP, sercos III, PROFINET IO, and EtherCAT. It also has a multi-encoder interface for encoders like the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the MS2N motor encoder, and the MSK motor encoder.
