The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW is a highly advanced and sophisticated electrical converter designed by Rexroth Indramat to accurately control the operation of industrial motors in accordance with pre-determined configuration parameters. This electrical converter is designed to be environmentally friendly, before it is delivered to the end user, it is tested and certified to meet internationally accepted standards. The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW electrical converter is a very flexible industrial machine that features a multi-encoder interface which is suitable for all standard encoders including the HIPERFACE, EnDat2.1, EnDat2.2, SSI, C, TTL, and the MSM encoders. The converter also features a hall sensor adaptor box designed to operate MCL linear motors which feature digital hall sensors instead of conventional internal encoders.
The maximum input current that can be used by the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW electrical converter during operation is about 13 amperes, at this current, the converter requires a mains connection voltage that falls between 110 to about 230 volts. During operation, this electrical converter can generate a leakage current of about 3.5 milliamperes, to prevent electrical shock, the converter should be properly grounded before it is switched on for operation. The connection between this electrical converter and industrial motors occurs through two major electrical cables; the power cable and the motor feedback cables. The power cable supplies the motor with the electrical energy it requires for operation while the motor feedback cable is used in the exchange of digital information between the encoder of the motor and the electrical converter.
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW electrical converter features the SERCOS/EtherCAT communication interface, it also features a multi-encoder and the CANopen interface. The converter features a high metal content and can be recycled after its service life is exhausted.
