Product Description
Built for diverse applications, the functional and cost-effective drive converters of the HCS series by Bosch Rexroth have several interfaces to aid their function. They are primarily used with other IndraDrive units to control electric motors and monitor their operation.
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-ET-S4-NN-FW is an HCS drive converter that eliminates heat via an internal cooling system. It has a compact structure that simplifies its installation within a control cabinet. In line with the standards of EN 60529, it falls in the IP 20 Ingress Protection category. This indicates that it does not admit solid external materials with diameters over 12mm. Its Multi-Ethernet communication module allows its integration in multiple bus systems, including EtherNet/IP, sercos III, EtherCAT, orPROFINET IO. There is also a multi-encoder interface in the drive converter, aiding its connection to standard encoders with supply voltages of 5V and 12V. They include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the MS2M motor encoder, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1.
Serving as a programming module in the HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-ET-S4-NN-FW is a standard control panel with four operating keys and a single-line display. Users can explore the machine’s operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings with this user panel. It is also useful for fault identification and resolution. The maximum permissible current for operating this HCS drive converter is 9A with switching frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, or 16kHz. It allows the use of firmware, but this must be ordered separately. Its control section is in the ADVANCED range and it is equipped with a sercos III master communication module.
