Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s HCS drive converters are used to control electric motors and monitor their operation. With other components of the IndraDrive system, they are used in machine tools, food processing and packaging machines, and handling and mounting systems.
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-ET-L3-NN-FW is a compact drive converter in the HCS series with a sercos III module working for cross-communication. It also has a Multi-Ethernet module for its integration in different Ethernet field bus systems. These include sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, or PROFINET IO. Its multi-encoder interface is ideal for connecting several standard encoders like the MS2M motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1. According to the requirements of EN 60529, it belongs to the IP 20 protection category. This is because it is protected from the penetration of solid extrinsic materials over 12mm. The switching frequencies that are allowed for the unit’s operation are 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz.
Integrated in the HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-ET-L3-NN-FW is an integrated brake current measurement and monitoring system. It also has a standard control panel where users can view its operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings. The control panel has a single-line display and four operating keys. Safe Torque Off (STO), a cost-effective solution for preventing drives from restarting unintentionally, is the safety module in this HCS model. It is operated with a three-phase AC voltage between 110V and 230V and accommodates a maximum current of 9A. The drive converter supports the use of firmware, but this is ordered separately. It is cooled by an internal cooling system.
