There are three name plates or type plates in the drive controller: for the device, firmware, and control panel. The type plate has crucial identification information of the unit. There is an LED display that is active only with safety bus communication through master communication. The control panel comes with a slot for a microSD memory card. The product’s compact nature makes it easy to install and commission. The HCS 01 drive controller features an IP 20 degree of protection. The device incorporates scalable signal processing and firmware. The drive controller must be installed within a control cabinet, considering the ambient conditions specified in the documentation. The mounting position of the device in the control cabinet is G1. Filters should be installed at the air intake opening of the cabinet to ensure the blockage of unclean air entry into the cabinet. The drive controller should be used appropriately as intended by the manufacturer; otherwise, situations leading to personal injury and property damage can take place. To monitor and control the unit, additional sensors and actuators may be required.
