Product Description
Handling and mounting systems, printing and paper converting machines, machine tools, and food processing and packaging machines are some of the diverse applications of the HCS drive converters designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. They are compact units used for controlling electric motors and monitoring their operations.
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW is a model of the drive converters in Bosch Rexroth’s HCS series. It accommodates a maximum current of 6A and supports control sections in the ADVANCED control section range. For communication, it uses a Multi-Ethernet communication module; hence, it supports integration in different Ethernet field bus systems such as sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP or PROFINET IO. There is also a multi-encoder interface in the drive converter for various standard encoders. These include the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the MS2N motor encoder, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1.
In line with the EN 60529 guidelines, the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW is a product of protection class IP 20. This indicates that it is dustproof, preventing the entry of solid extrinsic objects over 12mm in diameter. Its encoder emulation interface allows absolute value and incremental encoder signals galvanically isolated from the circuit board to be emulated for further evaluation by a control unit. The safety technology module in this HCS model is Safe Torque Off (STO), a cost-effective solution that prevents the drive from restarting unintentionally. It also has a standard control panel with a single-line display and four keys where users can view its operating states, command and error diagnoses, and unresolved faults. Its maximum permissible ambient temperature at the site of operation is 40oC.
