Its master communication is via the sercos III master, and it is used for ADVANCED control sections. This converter supports multiple standard encoders due to its multi-encoder interface. The compatible standard encoders include the sin-cos encoder with Hiperface, the MSM motor encoder, the MS2N motor encoder, and the sin-cos encoder with EnDat 2.1.
