Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control units are distinct products marked by their high quality and extensive functionality. The company’s HCS drive converters are compact units in the IndraDrive Cs drive system for controlling electric motors and monitoring their operations. Their target application areas include the semiconductor industry, general automation, food packaging and processing machines, and machine tools.
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW is a drive converter in the HCS series with two multi-encoder interfaces. These allow various standard encoder types to be connected, particularly those with supply voltages of 5V and 12V. They include the MS2N motor encoder, 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder with Hiperface, and the MSK motor encoder. It also features Safe Torque Off (STO) as its safety technology option to prevent the system from restarting spontaneously. With its compact size, it can be mounted within a control cabinet that provides cooling via an internal air cooling system. It should be installed in line with the G1 mounting position in this control cabinet.
A sercos III module serves as the master for cross-communication in the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW. It is compatible with control sections in the ADVANCED range and operates with a three-phase AC mains voltage between 110V and 230V. Its maximum current is 6A, and it permits switching frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. The drive converter’s Ingress Protection rating in line with EN 60529 is IP 20. This indicates that it is dustproof and impenetrable to solid external materials with a diameter of 12mm or more. There is a standard control panel with four keys and a single-line display in this HCS model, which serves as a programming module.
