The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-SB-NN-FW is a digital drive controller. It is designed to control electric motors and monitor their operation. Controlling and monitoring the drive controllers may require additional sensors and actuators. In combination with compatible motors, the controller is deployed for industrial applications such as handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, printing and paper converting machines, and machine tools. HCS controller features include compact construction, IP20 protection, control panel with programming module function, scalable signal processing and firmware, multi-encoder interface for all standard encoders (HIPERFACE®, EnDat2.1, EnDat2.2, SSI, BiSS C, TTL, sin/cos, resolver, MSM encoder, MS2N encoder), and DC bus connection. HCS controllers support an analog input (14 bit, ±10 V) and eight digital inputs. A performance-dependent fan control, integrated brake current measurement and monitoring and winding short circuit at motor output for shutdown as reaction to fatal errors are also supported.
The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-SB-NN-FW is a controller with a basic control section. The power section is designed to accept AC input at 200 to 500 Volts. The controller only supports 3-phase input. The maximum rated output of the HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-SB-NN-FW is 5 Amps. Other features supported by the controller include a multi-encoder interface that supports encoders installed on various servo motors, Multi-Ethernet communication, an engineering port for controller maintenance and a safety module with safe motion bus support.
