Product Description
Some notable features of the IndraDrive Cs drive converters by Bosch Rexroth are compact construction, safety technology options, and a multi-encoder interface. They are versatile units used to control electric motors and monitor their operations. The typical applications of these units include machine tools, general automation, food processing and packaging machines, and robotics.
The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-FW is a high-performance drive converter in the HCS series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Like other IndraDrive Cs drive converters, it has a compact build, allowing installation in a control cabinet. It also features a multi-encoder interface for a wide range of standard encoders with 5V and 12V supply voltage requirements. These encoders include the MSK motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface, the MS2N motor encoder, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. With its encoder emulation interface, absolute value and incremental encoder signals can be emulated. They are galvanically isolated from the circuit board and further evaluated by control units.
Multiple Ethernet bus systems, including SERCOS III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT, are compatible with the HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-FW. This is due to its Multi-Ethernet master communication module. The drive converter requires a three-phase AC voltage that ranges from 200V to 500V as its mains connecting voltage and has a maximum current rating of 5A. Its standard control panel has a single-line display where operating states, command and error diagnosis, and pending warnings can be viewed. It also supports the use of firmware, but this must be ordered separately. The converter’s Ingress Protection rating is IP 20, in line with EN 60529, meaning that it is impervious to solid extrinsic objects over 12mm.
