Product Description
Electric and drive control is one engineering field where Bosch Rexroth has consistently delivered state-of-the-art products. Its Rexroth IndraDrive drive system consists of such products, one of which is the IndraDrive Cs drive converter. These high-performance devices are available with different interfaces and communication protocols, making them suitable for numerous application-specific requirements.
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-E-S3-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is a model of the compact drive converters in Bosch Rexroth’s HCS01 series. It has a multi-encoder interface for standard encoders, such as the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the MSK motor encoder, and the combined encoder for SSI. These encoders have supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V. The drive converter’s master communication module is for sercos III and EtherCAT field bus systems, and its supported control sections are those in the ECONOMY range. Its operation requires a three-phase AC voltage between 110V and 230V, and it can briefly accommodate a maximum current of 3.3A. It supports installation within a control cabinet and is cooled by an internal cooling system within this housing.
A standard control panel with the programming module function is integrated in the HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-E-S3-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW. It has four keys and a clear single-line display where users can view operating states, error diagnoses, and pending warnings. The drive converter can also be used with firmware, but this must be ordered separately. In line with the EN 60529 standard, it is a product of protection class IP 20, meaning that solid external objects over 12mm cannot penetrate it to cause damage. The drive converter’s permissible switching frequencies are 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz, while its insulation resistance at 500V DC is 10.00 MOhm.
