Product Description
A compact construction, flexibility with multiple interfaces, and scalable signal processing and firmware are features of the HCS01 series in the IndraDrive Cs platform from Bosch Rexroth. Their target applications are machine tools, paper processing and printing machines, and handling machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is one of the drive converters built for BASIC UNIVERSAL control sections designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a Multi-Ethernet master communication interface that permits Ethernet-based protocols, including PROFINET IO, sercos III, and EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP. Its ideal mains operating voltage is a three-phase AC rating between 110V and 230V, while its maximum current rating is 3A. The converter uses an air cooling mechanism for heat dissipation, where the heat generated during its operation is eliminated within its control cabinet. Hence, it should be operated at an ambient temperature that ranges from 0oC to 40oC. In line with the EN 60529 standard, it is classified as an IP 20, indicating that it is dustproof.
Two multi-encoder interfaces are available on the HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW. They allow standard encoders with supply voltage requirements of 5V and 12V to be connected to the converter. These include the MSK motor encoder, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface. The control panel in this model is the standard type with a single-line display and four prominent keys. It acts as a programming module and can also be used in fault identification and rectification. There is also a protective integrated brake current measurement and monitoring function in the device. Firmware use is allowed with the drive converter, but it must be ordered as a separate subunit.
